Happy New Year!
As we start off this new year, my heart and head are bursting with things to share with you.
Last year I shared how I truly believed that God has a plan for this blog – what He wants me to write about.
I’m still seeking Him for wisdom but something that I believe has been birthed in my spirit is how He wants me to come up with topics to share here on Fine Natural Hair and Faith.
For starters, every post after this one will more than likely be connected to the one before it in some way. That may seem impossible considering I share on the subject matters of fine natural hair and faith. The two seem so completely different don’t they?
Yet, there is a connection that I am trusting God to lead me to. It’s a beautiful breakthrough for me and for you as well. What and how I share the content here on Fine Natural Hair and Faith is what sets this blog apart from other natural hair blogs.
Today I’m sharing how to get your breakthrough for the new year. It doesn’t matter what you’re experiencing. They key to your breakthrough is faith.
Whatever you are believing for – spiritual, physical, emotional; the key to the breakthrough is holding on to your faith.
Hold On To Your Faith
“Only believe.” Jesus said that in Luke 8:50 when He was talking to Jairus, one of the rulers of the synagogue back in Jesus’ day on earth. Jairus’ daughter was sick and dying but Jesus told him to not be afraid; only believe.
Believing takes faith. Faith is only found in the Word of God (In Jairus case, he had to have faith in Jesus’ Word to “Only Believe.”). If you can find a promise in the Word that you can attach to your situation, the manifestation of what you are believing for is within your reach.
And don’t let anyone tell you that what you’re believing for is shallow. What’s small to someone else, may be a big deal to you.
For example, you may be believing for a head full of beautiful thick hair. Some would call that vain…I wholeheartedly disagree. God is concerned with your entire being and if you feel insecure because of your appearance, He’s concerned about that too.
I pray that in 2016, you reach all of your goals. Again, happy new year!
