One of the things I share about often here at Fine Natural Hair and Faith is “Length Retention.”
While there is a number of ways to retain length on natural hair, one of the most effective ways to do so (once you’ve got your healthy hair care regimen down) is by protective styling.
I typically protective style with buns. Top knot buns, low buns, double buns, you name it.
So, one day as I was thinking about how much I bun my hair. I literally called myself a “serial bunner!”
Then, I thought to myself, “Self….(LOL no really)…Why don’t you start a new blog devoted strictly to all things related to bunning natural hair?”
And, so www.TheSerialBunner.com was born.
I’ll be posting there weekly as one thing I know about protective styling is you still need to keep it low manipulation. That’s why I will be sharing no more than one style in a given week.
I usually bun my natural hair 3-4 times a week after I’ve worn it out for a few days. Sometimes I start out with a bun right after washing but either way, I keep that bun in for at least 3 days.
How I manage that along with bunning tips, the various bun hairstyles I do, recommended products and accessories will be shared over at The Serial Bunner.
What About Fine Natural Hair and Faith?
You’re probably wondering if I’m writing over at the Serial Bunner then what about Fine Natural Hair and Faith?
Not to worry. This blog is my brain child! God gave it to me…name and all. So, this blog isn’t going anywhere. I will continue to write and share here as long as I’m able.
I’ve had to scale down how much I write here at Fine Natural Hair and Faith due to time constraints in my personal life so I will stick with that. I’ll continue writing here once a week, sharing on all things related to fine natural hair as well as faith inspired posts from time to time. So make sure you’re subscribed 😉
