You’ve done all you know to do. You’ve tried every product under the sun. Yet, your hair still lacks luster. It still lacks shine and its growth seems to be stunted. It’s time to try something new.
I whole heartedly believe that the best of the best hair care products come from nature. Just like the best foods come from nature. That’s why I was delighted when Curly Proverbz on YouTube decided to start selling her herbal hair products. Of course, it’s because I’m quite lazy and would neglect making them myself.
One of the products in the Curly Proverbz X Belle Bar Organics line is a Cassia Hair Gloss. Another is the Growth Tea Rinse.
The Cassia Hair Gloss
Cassia is a natural herb that provides much of the strengthening effects as henna, yet without depositing color to the strands. The effects aren’t as long lasting as henna but with regular use, it’s a true prize for those of us with fine hair. That’s because cassia helps to strengthen the hair shaft.
The Curly Proverbz X Belle Bar Cassia Hair Gloss also includes marshmallow root, avocado oil, green tea, apple cider vinegar, maca root, saw palmetto and basil. Each of these naturally occuring ingredients work in tandem to provide your hair with strength, shine, softness and manageability.
The Growth Tea Rinse
Black tea is popularly known for helping to stop hair fall when your hair begins to shed excessively. It’s a main ingredient of The Curly Proverbz X Belle Bar Growth Tea Rinse. Other ingredients include lavender essential oil, calendula, chamomille, comfrey, sage, red clover and hops. Together, these ingredients will awaken your hair follicles and support your scalp for hair growth.
Last week I used both the cassia hair gloss and the growth tea rinse. My first time results were nothing short of astounding.
This was after rinsing the cassia hair gloss out of my hair. There’s no product in my hair at this point but look at the shine that’s coming through naturally. Plus the curls are beginning to clump on their own, without any product.
Look at the shine and luster in these curls…
This was after the tea rinse which I didn’t rinse out at all. I simply spritzed it onto my scalp and massaged it in. I balanced the strength of the rinse on my hair with a leave in conditioner and sealed all that moisture goodness in with some lavender black castor oil. I figured that since the growth tea rinse also contains lavender, it would be a good idea to keep it all in the family as lavender essential oil helps to strengthen follicles in the scalp, thereby leading to new growth.
I will continue to use these Indian herbal hair products to support my new hair growth journey. After my very hefty hair cut back in January, I was a little disappointed in the rate of hair growth I was achieving so I’ve decided to return to my roots (no pun intended) and #TrustNature.
