Faith & Inspiration

I’ve struggled with getting to a healthy weight for over 15 years. Diet after diet, I’d get so close to or even reach my goal weight only to fall back in to old habits that lead me putting back on upwards of 50 extra pounds.

Lasciviousness is mentioned in the bible as not being able to find the breaks when trying to stop bad behavior. One more time equals one more time equals one more time.

That just about describes my relationship with food.

Changing that relationship with food is no something that can be done in the natural realm. I’ve tried it and it doesn’t work. At least, not for me.

I can’t just have a little “junk food” in moderation. I spiral out of control. Some day I may be able to but for now I cannot.

I’ve prayed off and on for years off for the Lord to help me with this battle I have with eating. He’s finally opened the eyes of my understanding concerning getting to and maintaining a healthy weight.

Using my faith to reach my fitness goals. That’s how I will get to goal weight and that’s how I will stay there.

Now, this was not just some epiphany that popped up in my head. The Lord used a woman, Cledra McCullers Gross. She’s a woman of God, a lifestyle engineer, someone who has been where I am now.

Cledra has given me and many others like me the tools to get fit and she does it using a faith based system that uses the armor of God to re-eingineer your thoughts.

I also purchased the Daniel Plan 365 Day Devotional as a companion guide to the program I’m going through with Cledra. Having the additional daily encouragement further helps with living a healthier life.

When a person over eats or regularly feeds their body unhealthy foods, they are essentially abusing the temple that God desires to reside in. This abuse has nothing to do with will power. It has everything to do with the mind set.

So, I’m learning a lot about changing my mindset and getting into better spiritual condition so that I can be here for years to come to care for my special boy, CJ.

I want to have the strength and the energy necessary to care for CJ as he gets older so that putting him into a facility is NOT an option.

If you are struggling with extra weight, be it physical or otherwise, I invite you to reach out to Cledra.
