Jesus or Bust

Jesus as Savior

We live in a precarious world. Disease runs rampant like never before. As medical science gains more knowledge, it seems as if there are new diseases popping up that there is no cure for.

The stock market is crazy as can be. It’s a gamble to even “play.” You can lose money in the blink of an eye. Forget the stock market. You can lose your job – your entirely livelihood in the blink of an eye. Nothing is secure.

Family will betray you. Friends will throw you under the bus for their own gain. What’s one to do in a world filled with such despair?

Jesus

Father God sent His son, Jesus into the world to seek and save the lost. The lost in spirit need Jesus more than anything. We are all lost in spirit until we come to know Jesus in the pardoning of our sins. Do you think you have no sin? Guess what? We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). It’s not even about what you do. It’s about your nature. You are born into this world filled with sin due to the Great Fall (Read about creation and the fall of man in great detail here).

Once we have Jesus as our Savior, the crazy things going on around us will have little affect but we must first have faith in Him. Faith that He can and He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6).

I don’t know about you but for me it’s Jesus or Bust. I choose Jesus. He’s the only one that can keep our minds at peace when hell is literally breaking out all around us. Jesus is more than just the Source of our salvation. He is THE lifeline. When you are sinking, He will rescue you. When you feel like dying, He’ll breathe new life into you.

Why people think they can live in this world without the Savior is beyond me. There’s sharks out there!

Are you safe?
