My Latest Testimony…What a Thanksgiving!

new bedroom

I mentioned in this post how 2016 has basically been the worst year of my life. I had been encountering one bad experience after another. Being a special needs mom already has me set up for a life filled with challenges but there was so much more added to my plate. The only thing good that happened was nobody died (and I seriously thank God for that).

While having has just one challenging event happen to me would have been tolerable, having one stressful moment after another made me feel like I just couldn’t catch a break. Well, God turned it all around!

I’m still in awe of how God has taken care of me and my family. We still have a lot of issues to work through (like getting out of debt once and for all) but one of the biggest problems we had was finding a place to live.

As of the writing of this post, we have been in our new beautiful apartment for almost a month! Right on time for us to give God a super duper praise on Thanksgiving Day (not that we needed to wait til then).

You just have to hear my testimony because reading it just won’t do it any justice. Plus, I’m bound to leave something out! That’s why I recorded the following video:

Happy Thanksgiving!

From my family to yours <3

  1. Michelle I am so happy for you and your family. Throughout your video I just kept smiling because like you I know how great and good God is. Your blessings came because you remain faithful even through your storms and you kept the vision that God had given you for this blog. I love the hair tips but it is your faith postings that I look forward to. I was able to purchase my town home 10 years ago after some very severe challenges in my life. God blessed me like he did you by putting people in my life that helped make it happen. God plans are for good to those who love him and who remain faithful. Enjoy your new place. Love and blessings.

    1. thank you Pamela. I really look forward to the day when I will be able to buy a townhouse. I want it to be a condo though so somebody else can be responsible for the maintenance LOL. God knows the desires of our hearts. An apartment is small potatoes compared to a house or a condo townhome but I believe when you are faithful in the least, He will make you ruler over more.

Thank you for the encouraging words

  2. Time after time, God sends someone to remind you of His faithfulness. Thank you for your testimony Michelle and sharing your faith. You are inspiring because I know it can’t be easy, but look at God!! To Him be the glory!
