Refresh Your Curls With The Q-Redew Handheld Steamer

On Monday I shared, why steaming should be a part of your hair regimen. There are so many environmental factors that can rob our hair of it’s moisture that we need an effective way to put that moisture back into our hair. Steaming is it.

I’ve been steaming my hair with the innovative new Q-Redew handheld steamer. The Q-Redew allows for perfect styling control in minutes without re-wetting or shampooing. You apply the Q-Redew’s warm mist to reshape, volumize and style your tresses. It helps boost your curls and can transform bed head in a matter of minutes.

I’ve been bunning my hair  for the majority of the winter, with an occasional wash and set, twist out or braid out. Those protective styles are helpful for retaining length to a degree but I noticed that my hair tends to get very tangled when in a protective style for too long.

As I shared in the article about adding steaming to your hair regimen, steaming helps to make finger detangling soooo much more effective. You don’t have to necessarily wash your hair directly afterwards either.  You can detangle it and just wear it out for another day or two until you are ready for wash day.

I absolutely love how easy it is to steam my hair with the Q-Redew. It’s portable and it works very fast. I don’t have to sit underneath a bulky steamer for hours. I can get the same results as I would with a steamer that has to be set up and sat under.

The Q-Redew retails for $69. It’s almost 1/2 the cost of a full size steamer. I think it should have been no more than $49 but there isn’t a comparable portable hair steamer on the market. For what this hair steamer does in minutes, I’ll just file this under “things of necessity.” Stay tuned for a future post where I’ll share a video demonstration of me using the Q-Redew.

Oh my goodness…I’m drooling over your bun.

Thanks for sharing this. The one thing that has kept me from purchasing a steamer is the price.

I’ve never heard of this one before but the price point is sweet. I’ll have to do some research.
