When you are seeking gorgeous, healthy and manageable tresses, you need to add steaming to your hair regimen. There are so many environmental factors that can rob our hair of it’s moisture that we need an effective way to be able to rapidly put moisture back into our hair. Steaming is the way to go.
Benefits of Steaming Natural Hair
As I shared in the article about adding steaming to your natural hair regimen, steaming helps to make finger detangling so much more effective. You don’t have to necessarily wash your hair directly afterwards either. You can detangle your hair (preferably finger detangling) and just wear it out for another day or two until you are ready for wash day.
I’ve been steaming my hair with the innovative new Q-Redew handheld steamer for a while now. The Q-Redew allows for perfect styling control in minutes without re-wetting or shampooing your hair. You apply the Q-Redew’s warm mist to reshape, volumize and style your tresses. It helps boost your curls and can transform bed head in a matter of minutes.
I absolutely love how easy it is to steam my hair with the Q-Redew. It’s portable and it works very fast. I don’t have to sit underneath a bulky steamer for hours. You can get the same results as you would with a steamer that has to be set up and sat under.
The Q-Redew handheld hair steamer retails for $69. It’s almost 1/2 the cost of a full size steamer. I think it should have been no more than $49 but there isn’t a comparable portable hair steamer on the market. For what this hair steamer does in minutes, I’ll just file this under “things of necessity.”
