Shaving Your Head Can Be Liberating!

This past weekend I took the plunge and did something I’ve been wanting to do for months now. I shaved the side of my head

shaved head and freedom of expression

Not everyone likes it but most have expressed that they do. Here’s the thing. I feel so liberated! I used to care about what people thought of my hair and now I just don’t give two crocks. If you like it, great. If not, know this one thing.

IT IS NOT YOUR HEAD OF HAIR. OK did I just yell? I guess I did.

For so long i have been focusing on the length of my hair that I completely ignore the fact that I have healthy hair – VERY healthy hair. I do not use heat or harsh chemicals. I do not brush or comb my hair (only with a Denman brush when my hair is soaked with conditioner when the moon is blue).

Length will come but for now I’m enjoying my hair and styling it the way I want to. Check out this short video of how elated I was on the day I first did the big chop (LOL not really but it felt like it!):

  1. Wow! I love it! I was watching R & B divas and Chante Moore is rocking this style. I was just thinking I need a change but I’m a coward and will probably buy a wig instead of doing a cut.

    1. Really? I haven’t seen the show in a while.

I can’t take Michel’le’s voice (or however you spell it LOL). She should just sing everything. Just don’t ever talk LOL

    1. Nah it doesn’t matter anymore Emma. Some people don’t like it but like I said to Sabrina, too bad. I like it. My husband likes it and eventually it will be old news.

      thank you though 🙂
