What Happened to Wash Day Chronicles?

It’s been a mean last few weeks as it relates to updating this here blog. I had hosting issues (another story) and I was maxed out on time when it comes to updating regularly. My niece is having twinsies! All of my spare time went to planning her super duper grandiose baby shower which was this past weekend (I shared a few pics over on my Facebook page)

I really wanted to keep Wash Day Chronicles going until the end of the year and I almost made it! But, now I am many weeks backed up and for the life of me I can’t take the time to catch up! I have tons more to share but I’m not going to leave you completely hanging. Here’s what I’ve done…

Staple Hair Products

I’m a firm believer that once you find your staple hair products, you’ve conquered half the battle as it relates to reaching your hair goals. That’s why I wrote this post here > on my staple hair products.

The whole purpose of chronicling my wash days to begin with was to show the products as well as the techniques I’m regularly using to help me reach my hair goals; which brings me to my next topic…

Hair Goals and How I’m Getting There

I recently recorded the following video for my YouTube subbers. It shares what my hair goals are and how I plan to meet them. The steps I’m taking to reach my hair goal (waist length in 2 years) isn’t typically what I share in my Wash Day Chronicles so this video provides an expanded view that extends beyond wash day.

Low Manipulation Hair Regimen

Because, I believe that no matter what products I use on my fine natural hair, low manipulation is key to retaining length. In the video I mention that (if you didn’t watch it, whatcha waitin’ for!) but here’s a link to a page I wrote not too long ago (in case you missed it 🙂 ) Day to day to day Low Manipulation Hair Regimen.

So there you have it.. I may have wrapped up wash day chronicles but guess what’s next?

First, below is a link to the Wash Day Chronicles tag in case you missed any and want to catch up. This link will take you to the entire series:

Wash Day Chronicles 2015

Second, tarting this Friday, I’ll be sharing an in depth review of every single one of my staple hair products. I’ll be posting 2 times a day almost every day of the week (pray for me) because there’s tons to share!

Then, I’m taking the entire Thanksgiving week Off. Valuing the time I get to spend with my CJ, I’m giving it all to him and I’ll see you all the week after! I’ll then pick up the “Staple” series which will run til year end.

Ciao and Stay Tuned!
