There was a fun Curly Proverbz NYC meet up. Faridah is one of my favorite Youtube ladies!

In my last post I shared the newly launched Curly Proverbz Herbal hair care line. The line was launched earlier this year but the official product launch took place in New York City. Here’s some footage:

The meet up was such a great time of camaraderie amongst some ladies in the natural hair community.

I wish you could have been there but I hope that watching some of the footage from the event made you feel like you were a part of it in some small way.

During the meet up, we were introduced to Curly Proverbz’ (Faridah) new herbal hair collection. She refers to it as Ayurvedic hair care. Here’s why I don’t use that term unless referring to something specific like the name of an Ayurvedic hair care course.

The products in the CurlyProverbz X Belle Bar Collection consists of:

  • Henna Hair Gloss Mask
  • Cassia Hair Gloss Mask
  • Growth Tea Rinse
  • Methi (Fenugreek) Infused Oil

Each of these products were available for purchase at https://bellebarorganic.com/ Sadly, it was a temporary offering. So, they are no longer available. <3

Alternative to Curly Proverbz Herbal Hair Care Products

Even though the hair line is no longer available, that doesn’t mean there are no options. Henna Sooq offers a ton of similar herbal hair products and even more ways to mix up your own DIY treatments. Check out their Youtube channel for weekly demos of creating herbal hair treatments, including hair masks.

Why Not Belle Bar Organic?

While the collection of hair masks, rinse and hair oil was in collaboration with Belle Bar Organic, I find that I prefer Henna Sooq’s products. They are more affordable and seem to perform better in my hair.

However, many ladies experience success with their products. So, of course they are an option as well.

All in all Curly Proverbz NYC meet up was a great success. I hope Faridah visits with us again.
