beyond salvation

How long do we hear about the salvation experience? Yes, it’s a good reminder to hear about how God has saved us and how much He loves us that He gave his only begotten Son.

But you gave up the delusion that you could fix your own life and now you’re saved. Now what? How do you live once you’ve been saved and are a born again Christian?

Living this Christian life goes way beyond the moment when you turn your life over to Christ. You have to learn how to respond to situations in life that come your way.

What do you do when you lose a job?

How do you respond when someone crosses you?

….when a loved one dies?

…..when life throws one disappointment at you after the next?

You need wisdom. You need understanding and not the way people do it in this fallen world.

Taking the time to read God’s word and search out His promises, how He responds to certain situations and how he instructs us to respond.

You get what you need to know about living Beyond Salvation by attending a church that teaches the entire Word of God unadulterated (not just the Word that gets people saved). Even when you go to a church that teaches under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, never just take another’s word. Go home and read the Bible for yourself, allowing the Holy Spirit to teach you.

The more time you spend reading and mediating on the living Word of God, the more you learn how to live victorious in this life.
