rope twists on natural hair

I’m going on 4 weeks into a twists challenge. I started my own a while back but it was a short one (30 days).

When I saw some of my fellow YouTube gals doing one for 2 months, I decided to join in to give myself a break. After all, it IS growing season thanks to all the humidity. What better way to retain a little length?

So, I kept my rope twists in for almost 3 weeks. They are out now for a week and a half break (the hair was starting to loc). While it was twisted, I had to style them. If not, I would have allowed Hair ADD to creep in!

In the following two videos I share some simple ways to style small to mini twists. The best part is you don’t need to use any bobby pins! These hairstyles are quick.

*The reason I put these styles in two videos is my iMovie kept crashing. I guess the video was too long 🙂

Your twists look great! Good idea. I’ve been spending a lot of time in the pool so I should try something like this.
