Healthier skin doesn’t have to be a misnomer. Sometimes you just need someone to provide you with a few helpful tips on how to improve skin health!

Skin Care Products to Improve Skin Health

  1. Use skin care products for sensitive skin (even if you don’t have sensitive skin). They are usually formulated without harsh chemicals.
  2. Always wear sunscreen when going outdoors.
  3. Make sure water is the first ingredient in your moisturizer, followed by a natural oil.
  4. Use pore cleansing strips to remove blackheads and whiteheads.
  5. Go alcohol free in your skin care products.
  6. Use face products from an established skin care line with honest ingredients
  7. Replace expired skin care products.
  8. Use facial products that contain collagen and elastin.
  9. Try herbal skin care products.
  10. Try DIY skin care products made from food every now and then.
  11. Don’t use cleansers that contain sulfates that will strip your skin of its natural oils.
  12. Don’t leave toner out of your skin care regimen. It helps close pores that have been opened from cleansing. It also helps remove residual product that was not rinsed away after cleansing.

  2. Hello. I know this is a two year old post but I came across it while reading your recent post on 25 Tips for Healthy Hair Growth. I tried the link for the Blended Naturals line and came across an error. I even searched for them on Google. Are they out of business? Thank you.

    1. Hi April, Blended Naturals was my line. I discontinued it because unfortunately there’s so much competition in the skin care market I was not able to make much of a profit. Instead, I now promote product lines that I have found to be effective 🙂

  4. I practice most of these already. I’m proud of myself. I’m all about healthy skin. Especially with my daughter. I try to limit the scars she will have through out the years. She’s so playful like a boy. I’m worried.

    1. Hi Kay- Don’t worry. Leave her in God’s hands. Pray for her every day. She’s enjoying herself right now. And isn’t that what we really want for our kids anyway? To enjoy themselves?
