America is Failing and Here’s The Only Way to Save Her

I don’t know how to say what I’m about to say in an eloquent way or even in a way that someone would consider intelligent. I just know that I need to be obedient because God’s righteous judgment cannot be avoided.

I don’t know who will read this, but I do know that whoever the Lord allows to read it is who it is for. So, I’ll just say it as it’s been, and is being given to me.

America Will Be Judged

America is a mess. The stench of her sins has reached the nostrils of God, and it won’t be long before she falls apart completely. There’s only one hope for this nation. Keep reading to discover it.

I’m an American born and bred in this nation, so it’s  not as if I’m some foreigner on the outside looking in and making snap judgments.

Evidence of Moral Decay

I grew up here, and I’ve seen all of the terrible things that have happened and continue to happen. What’s worse is all of the awful things that happen in this nation are increasing (Read some alarming national statistics here):

• Murders and suicides
• Human trafficking and prostitution
• Disrespect for the elderly
• Rape and abortions
• Dishonesty
• Theft and vandalisms

And, the list goes on. However, we live in an age of grace and mercy. This is why God has not punished us accordingly….yet.

God is Merciful But Also Just

God is long-suffering, not wanting anybody to perish (2 Peter 3:9)

He’s also a God of judgment, righteous judgment (Romans 2:16). There’s much biblical evidence as to God’s patience with mankind. There’s also alot about His judgment in the Bible.

This nation needs to repent – to turn from wickedness – to seek the One true God, the living God. The Lord declared early at the beginning of time that He would not put up with us but for so long:

“Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not put up with humans for such a long time, for they are only mortal flesh. In the future, their normal lifespan will be no more than 120 years.” – Genesis 6:3.

God will exercise righteous judgment over any nation that continues to sin willfully and boastfully. The children of Israel experienced this firsthand. You can read about judgment in the Bible all throughout the Old Testament.

Why We Can’t Save Ourselves

God knew that sin would continue to grow and overtake mankind, but He also knows that there are many who will turn away from it and try to live righteous lives. Yet, because we are born in sin and shaped in iniquity (Psalm 51:5, Ephesians 2:2-3) , we can’t do it alone.

That’s why Jesus came. He came to rescue us. He left the throne of heaven, came to experience life as a man, and then gave up that life so that we may live. The scriptures say Christ died for the ungodly (Romans 5:6). That’s you and me. That’s love.

But God’s love will not be ignored. You have every right, a free will to reject it, but if you do, you will suffer the consequences of rejecting the only way to be free from the hold that sin has a hold on you.

Romans 10:13 (NLT) says, “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

This Message Isn’t Just for America

Now, if you’re not an American and you’re reading this thinking that America is the only place that’s a hot mess, then you’re wrong. The whole world is filled with sin; however, I am only speaking of the place where I live because this is what I was led to do.

You may try to do good, to be good, but God knows the hearts of all men. Even if you never committed a physical sin, it’s in your heart – your nature. Again, that’s why Jesus came.

So, I’ll end with this. I did not write this to scare anybody, but to shine light on the truth. The truth that time as we know it is wrapping up, and America is going to soon be judged for her sins. Yet, not America only.

Perhaps America is what God will use as an example of His righteous judgment for all the world to see. We have been a very blessed nation, and I believe most of us have taken it for granted.

There are riches that people enjoy in this country that others from other nations can’t even conceive of. Yet, we have taken and made money our God. We have used our riches to enslave others. We have lied, stolen, and even killed for it.

Repent and Be Saved While You Can

God sees and He knows. Repent and turn to Jesus for forgiveness and deliverance from sin while you have a chance for these are the last days.

There will come a time when it’s too late. Repent of your sins. Humble yourself before the Lord.
