Devotional: When You Feel Like You’re Doing All You Can
Learning to rest in God when your effort feels unseen

Scripture Focus
Galatians 6:9 (NLT)
โSo letโs not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we donโt give up.โ
Observation
There are seasons when youโre doing all you can. You’re praying, showing up, staying faithful, and it still feels like nothingโs changing. Those moments can wear you down and make you wonder if your effort matters.
Reflection
This scripture is a reminder that things don’t always work out the way we’d like immediately. Sometimes there are delays.
But, the key is to just-not-quit.
So, if you are working on something that doesn’t seem to be producing any “fruit,” keep going.

If you are trying to improve your marriage relationship by responding to your spouse like Jesus does, and it doesn’t seem to be helping – keep doing so.
If you are doing everything you know to do to make your house a home, but it seems like things are still off – keep going.
Iโve learned that growth often happens in quiet places, the ones that feel invisible. Godโs timing doesnโt always match ours, and thatโs hard to accept. But every prayer, every act of obedience, and every step of faith all count.
You donโt have to force progress. Just keep tending to what God has already given you. Trust that Heโs working even when you canโt see it yet.
In Closing
Take a beat today. Learning to rest in God isn’t something that comes easy or even naturally.
So, breathe and recognize that when you are doing all you know to do, it’s just that you don’t know enough, but there’s Someone who does. He is who you should seek. God Almighty – Omniscient (all knowing).
That’s all I have for today.
