Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus Co-wash Conditioning Cleanser (Former Staple)

(Updated Aug 2016) My co-wash product of choice is Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea Cleansing Co-Wash. It’s knocked the Shea Moisture’s Coconut Hibiscus Co-wash Conditioning Cleanser down to a “nice to use once in a while.
How I Use Shea Moisture Conditioning Cleanser
I’ve only used this conditioner cleansing in one way – to cleanse my hair and scalp.
Best Features
Rich in butters and oils, this cleansing conditioner has great moisturizing slip! I actually hesitated on trying this for a while because my hair didn’t respond very well to the Coconut Hibiscus Hold & Shine Moisture Mist or the Curl & Style Milk. I attributed it to the heavy presence of coconut oil in the products because typically, this fine head of hair I possess only responds well to coconut oil as a pre-poo.
After repeatedly seeing reviews of the Coconut Hibiscus Co-wash Conditioning Cleanser, I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. It’s kind of like my experience with Shea Moisture’s Curl Enhancing Smoothie which is a part of the Coconut Hibiscus line. I use it for wash and go’s from time to time and even twist outs. My hair is left feeling very soft and moisturized, just like when I use the Conditioning Cleanser.
