TRESEmme Perfectly (un) Done Conditioner (Former Staple)
Last updated on June 29th, 2020 at 05:42 pm
(Updated Aug 2016) One of the first staple hair products I shared was Shea Moisture Zanzibar Marine Complex Conditioner. I shared how conditioner was probably the most necessary product for hair, natural or relaxed. This goes without question. Yet, I would never stick to using just 1 brand of conditioner. I need to rotate them from time to time so that my hair doesn’t get too used to just one formula.
However, that conditioner is no longer a staple conditioner for me and neither is this one. I’ve scaled down on my staple hair products but these two conditioners are still excellent for fine hair.
TRESEmme Expert Selection Perfectly (un)Done Weightless Moisturizing Conditioner…
How I Use TRESEmme Perfectly (un)Done Conditioner
- for Wash and go’s
- after a henna to soften the hair
- to finger detangle in the shower during a final rinse
- applied directly to dry hair to add a little moisture from time to time
Best Features
TRESemme’s’ Perfectly (un)Done conditioner has a great amount of slip. This makes detangling the hair much easier (especially finger detangling). My hair is left soft and manageable. Additionally, like TRESemme Naturals Conditioner it’s free of silicones which could potentially build up on the hair.
Truth be told, I’m not really concerned about silicones. They can be removed by shampooing the hair with a shampoo containing sulfates or a clay wash or with apple cider vinegar. I chose to use silicone free products for ease and that’s all.
There’s very few cheapie conditioners (the drugstore kind) on the market. The fact that this one has good slip and no silicones makes it a great product for fine natural hair.
