This post has been in dry form for some time now. I’ve wanted to share with you where you could find some hairstyle inspiration but for some reason it got lost in my drafts.  However, what I’m about to share is truly evergreen content. It will always be useful at some time for someone 🙂

Well, that’s assuming the sources don’t go dry themselves!

The internet is rich with content. You can find just about any and everything and that includes getting ideas for how to style your hair. Yet, when it comes down to finding the best source

YouTube is absolutely the best place to go for hairstyle inspiration.  I have a few YouTubers that I frequent their pages.  You’ll be surprised to see that not many of them are women of color.  On purpose.

Here are my top 5 Tubers for Hairstyle Inspiration:

LuxyHair – From easy to intricate styles, you’re sure to find some inspiration here.

Bebexo – A beautiful Asian woman with the longest hair ever! You can gain great inspiration no matter your hair length

LetsMakeitUp1 (now Kayley Melissa) – She creates hairstyle tutorials for every day

Mahogany Knots – Her styles are easy, down to earthy and practical. Very entertaining this one!

LilithDarkMoon– She creates beautiful soft hair styles and uses extensions for many of them

Based on some of the videos I’ve watched, here are a few of the hairstyles I was able to recreate:

Now, this is just a small sampling of Youtubers. There are many others that you can find not only hairstyle inspiration from but hair care info. based on your specific hair type.  If you have what may be considered 3C/4A curly type hair, then check out some of the cute natural hairstyles that I’ve created.

Do you go to YouTube to find some inspiration when seeking new styles?

If so, who are your favorite YouTubers?
