Pros

This hair butter is one of the best I’ve ever tried. I purchased it 3 times and the last time I bought it, I got two jars!

I use Kinky Kashmere Betta Butta to twist my hair for a protective style, to set my twists for a twist out, and to braid my hair for a braid out. While I’ve not used it for simple moisture sealing, it’s certainly capable of transforming dry hair into soft and manageable.

When I first used this product, I thought it would just be a great moisturizer to keep my hair soft and shiny. It does that but it also provides the hair with excellent definition. My very first twist out using Kinky Kashmere’s Betta Butta was done on dry hair. That’s actually how I met Ashley (the Creator) and found out about her awesome butta!

This butter absorbs into the hair strands and what’s great is, it does not build up on the hair shaft or weigh the hair down. Score for #finenaturalhair !

If you set your hair wet or damp, the shine is just amazing.

Last off, the ingredients are so clean and I’m happy to know that I’m adding the goodness of what nature has to offer to my fine strands. There’s no crap in this product.

Cons

This butter butta is seriously everything. For the sake of coming up with a con, it would be the product packaging. It’s deserving of an upgrade. The jar should be made to look a lot more appealing to adequately reflect the quality of what’s inside of it!

Final Thoughts

I’ve been using this butter based styler off and on for about three years now. To say that I’m beyond impressed with what a great natural product one lady could create on her own without a professional like a chemist is an understatement.
