Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave in Conditioner (Staple)

Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave in Conditioner is my FAVORITE leave in. I alternate it with Shea Moisture’s Strengthen, Grow and Restore Leave in but make no mistake, if I had to choose just one this would be it!
There’s so much I can say about this product but I’ll stick with the format of how I lay out my staple hair products and start with how I use it.
How I Use Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave In Conditioner
I use this leave in condition in the most obvious way – as a leave in all by itself! I love this product solo. It’s so hydrating and lush to my strands. I also use to keep my hair moisturized right after spritzing my hair with a DIY henna tea (I use this for strength but it can be drying alone).
Similar to how I use the Shea Moisture leave in, I take it a step further by creating my own leave in based on the popular Kimmaytube’s recipe. Of course, I tweak that recipe by using my choice of oils (one being my staple oil, apricot castor oil). So, basically, I enhance Kinky Curly’s leave in by adding oils and aloe vera. I’ll share my version of Kimmaytube’s leave in conditioner recipe in the near future.
Best Features
Now on to why I love this leave in so much! For 1) the ingredients are to my liking. (I read a post once that states the label is either deceptive or the product is missing water. All I can say is, this leave in is quite agreeable with my hair and is pH balanced). There’s a small amount of preservative but other than that, it’s all natural. 2) I looooooove the smell so much! I find myself constantly sniffing it (short of crack head-dome 🙂 ) 3) The slip is wonderful. It’s very creamy. If I wanted to detangle dry hair, I could use this product alone and my fingers would glide through my hair (see finger detangling 101)

I’ve been looking at this product for a minute. I might have to give this a try! It seems like the perfect leave-in for baby girl’s hair.
