Bantu Knot Out

This style offers defined waves with a soft edge. It’s great for a Valentine’s night out or if you need an easy party hairstyle.
When you use bantu knots to create curls, the result is a versatile texture that can be styled in numerous ways. You can do a half up/half done, add some loose braids, or twists. There are numerous possibilities, making it one of those ideal hairdos for curly hair.
I do however recommend that you do this style on your straightened natural hair. It looks sleeker that way.
Large Side Braid Wrapped into a Bun

This Valentine hair style features a statement side braid that flows into a sophisticated bun. This is one of my favorite hairstyles to rock on special occasions because it looks way more sophisticated than it actually is! You definitely need this product though to “pump” up the braid.
Crown Braids Pinned Back

This style is for Valentine hair that makes you look a bit royal. It’s an elegant choice for not only Valentine’s Day but also birthday hair! It’s beautiful on natural hair, relaxed hair, or straightened hair alike.
1/2 Up/Down Waterfall Twists

This hairstyle is not just romantic. It displays the length of your hair. It’s definitely a style that should be done or straightened or blown out natural hair though.
It combines the best of both worlds – keeping some hair up while letting the rest flow freely. The loose twists in the back create a waterfall effect making it visually stunning.
To create the look, you need a large scrunchie which will be used to gather the top of the hair. Loop it ONCE but then use 2 bobby pins to pin it in place. Otherwise, your hair will slip right through it like sand through your fingers.
Then, grab sections of hair the same size and loosely twist them.
Clipped Double Bun

Another hairstyle that looks more difficult than it actually is, the clipped double bun is a perfect choice for Valentine’s Day or a date night out.
This playful and chic style involves creating one bun that is pulled all the way through once secured. Then, the bottom section is folded up, creating another bun. All of the hair is then secured with a large decorative claw clip, making this one of the cutest natural hairstyles of the day!
Pinned Flat Twists

Flat twists in general, make for a great Valentine’s Day style. That’s because they are timeless black hairstyles that are easy to do, and they look romantic in various ways. The red ribbon added a festive touch.
Lastly, flat twists are much easier than doing cornrows so if you don’t have the skill of braiding, this is an excellent choice.
Half Up Bun/Half Down Ponytail

Another style that’s best done on straightened hair, the bottom section has soft curls at the ends. The top section is secured into a small bun.
this hairstyle combines the best of both worlds that’s great for casual or formal settings.
Heart-Shaped Top Bun

Want to look chic for Valentine’s Day and protect your natural hair? This heart-shaped bun is it.
Creating it is all in how you shape and pin the hair. Plus, what better way to celebrate love than with a heart-shaped bun? This is one of the more festive Valentine hairstyles for natural hair.

1950s Inspired Ponytail / Bun
There’s something about those simple hairstyles from the 50s that are so classic and romantic looking.
Now, of course, back in the 50s, they did ponytails and buns with more bouffant-ness to them but those styles also required more manipulation – in many cases, teasing the hair and I’m not about that life.
