Devotional: Rebuilding Your Life on the Word of God

Intro
Some days it feels like no matter how hard you try to โget it together,โ something still feels off.
Youโre doing the Bible reading. Youโre praying. But, deep down, your faith feels scattered or shallow. It’s like when you pray, your prayers go up to the ceiling and fall back down.
Sound familiar?
I want to offer you another perspective. Perhaps it’s not that you are completely off. Maybe you just need a realignment. You know. Kind of like what cars get when they start to slightly veer off the road even when you are steering straight.
To realign, you have to take a pause and return to the basic biblical foundations of your Christian faith.
Scripture Focus: Faith Verse of The Day
I offer you this verse to focus on (and many more to come). You can verse map this for an even deeper study.
โSeek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.โโ Matthew 6:33 NLT
Reflections & Encouragement
This verse is more than encouragement. Itโs divine instruction. Jesus gave us a blueprint for how to live this Christian life. It’s one that starts with putting God in His rightful place.
When you seek the Kingdom first, everything else starts to shift into place. Your decisions, your desires, even your daily frustrations, begin to look different when God is at the center.
That doesnโt mean your life will be perfect. But it does mean youโll stop feeling like youโre building your house on the sand.
If youโve been trying to grow in your faith without a firm foundation, nowโs the time to start fresh. The best way to do that is to spend time in the Word of god. Allow God’s Word to correct, comfort, and guide your life. Thatโs how real growth happens.
Free Reading Plan โ Foundations of Faith
To help you recalibrate, so to speak, I put together a Bible reading plan on the Foundations of the Christian Faith. This scripture reading plan is designed to walk you through 30 verses that will help you rebuild your faith from the ground up. One verse at a time. One day at a time. So, it’s excellent for beginners.
If you want to take your studying further, consider verse mapping each of these scriptures over the month.
